The Flying Public was/is a rock band from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. We have been in hibernation for 7 years... Our members are currently scattered across Canada. We are waking up. Songs are being started and finished . A project has begun, this blog will track our progress as we develop something new. Come along for the ride...

Happy New Year!
We used to have a tradition of very carefully selecting the first song to be played in the new year, sometimes in hopes that it might set the tone for the entire year to come. What's your first song for 2012?

Holiday work to begin soon.
Sorry for the long silence...
We have to balance our adopted real lives with chaos and creation in the basement.
Over the holidays we will be pushing on with "Whites Lines" and starting work on "The Middle" a song that was actually played live one time in 2005.
During this revisiting of ghosts of FP past we have found that new ideas for new songs have crept out as well. I think the consensus is that we will work on the best ideas, old or new and see what happens.
My hope is that we can start to show you the fruits of our labour sooner than later.
Stick with us. It's more fun when you're around.
